Parents will provide transportation to and from the facility, except in special circumstances.
Occasionally, Harbour TugBoats Daycare will transport children on a field trip. When such an occasion occurs, parents will provide safety approved car seats in accordance with Virginia law.
Written authorization is required for parents to fill out before their child may attend a field trip.
Parents, who wish to volunteer for field trips and other activities, which involves interaction with children other than your own, must follow these guidelines. The volunteer must:
Complete a State Criminal History form provided by Harbour TugBoats Daycare.
Behave in a manor that is appropriate for children to observe
Refrain from using drugs or alcohol including smoking
Keep track of assigned children
Allow only the staff of Harbour TugBoats Daycare to administer disciplinary action such as time outs.
